Kraken Kreative is an experienced and professional signage & mural painting business based in Australia, established in 2014 by artist Sion Gruffydd.

Kraken Kreative started out of a passion for art & design and the urge to share creativity and help businesses and organisations look good and stand out in their industry.

Starting as a graphic design and screen printing business in 2014, Kraken quickly grew, taking on staff and moving into a nice studio space in the centre of Wollongong. This allowed Sion to add his other creative passions to the business - sign painting and murals.

After nearly 9 years in business, thriving in the Illawarra area, Sion decided it was time for a new chapter. In 2023 Sion sold the screen printing side of the business to his staff members in a move to put everything into his main creative passions - painting signage & murals, engaging the community with creativity and helping to empower people through art. Sion now lives in Jindabyne with his family, snowboarding,mountain biking and traveling to anywhere with a good wall to paint.
